Signals Sound Laboratory proudly presents the World Premiere of Ghost in The Machine. Join comedic actor Paul Rowe from Genrefonix this February at the appropriately chosen Wireless Hill. The eccentric life of the late Wally Coxon, referred to as “the imperial wizard of the twirling dial”, is unfortunately largely unknown to broader Perth audiences - until now.

Responsible for founding WA's first experimental radio station exactly 100 years ago; Coxon played a pivotal role in establishing Perth’s early radio scene including the former 6WF which we now know as ABC 720.

As well as this historical tour the event will allow audiences the opportunity to see the current exhibition Cold War to Dance Floor which is a sensory exploration of history through sound emitting devices from the world wars to the dance floors, demonstrating how electrical components of yesteryear still exist as ghosts from the past in our modern machines.
