Gillian Cosgriff - The Fig Tree

The multi-talented Gillian Cosgriff has graced our screens and stages since 2010, racking up awards and earning a reputation for her unique blend of quick-witted musical comedy often compared to the likes of Tim Minchin and Kate Miller-Heidke.

Now, she presents Adelaide audiences with an exclusive first glimpse of a special development showing of her latest musical, The Fig Tree.

Over five days of the festival, Cosgriff will workshop select scenes from the piece she describes as The Magic Faraway Tree for adults and will perform a showing with excerpts exploring relationships, choice, indecision, monogamy, figs, parallel universes and love.
