CONCERT FUNDRAISER - HEART4VICKI

Wife, daughter, sister, friend and Mum, with 2 young adoring children, Vicki is a 47 year old Melbournian.

In 2015 Vicki became very unwell with a heart condition and spent a significant time in Hospital, initially managed only with medications.

Vicki's condition deteriorated considerably, and her heart failed in 2020. Fortunately, she received a Biventricular assist device (BiVAD) implant; mechanical circulatory assistance, which offers an improved quality of life to patients with total heart failure. 2 x 5 kilo battery packs, assist Vicki with her blood flow and keeps her heart pumping.

Vicki was on life support in ICU for a period of 6 weeks, followed by a further 4 months recovery, before transferring across to rehab.
Vicki had to relearn basic activities of daily living; such as walking, eating & swallowing, just to name a few...

Vicki is now in need of a lifesaving heart transplant, to ensure she has the opportunity to watch her children grow and be present for all of the special moments in their lives.

We hope you'll support us in our fundraising efforts, with the aim of raising much needed funds, to assist Vicki & her family, in covering some of her extensive medical expenses.

We have a stellar lineup of artists who have put up their hands in support of Vicki & who are ready and willing to present an amazing night's entertainment. There'll be loads of raffles & a photobooth on the night too!
