Disney Channel’s smash-hit movie musical comes to life at the Playhouse Theatre!

Star Basketballer Troy Bolton falls for nerdy beauty Gabriella Montez at a holiday karaoke party. Returning after the break, he finds that Gabriella has moved into town and is starting at the same school. Feeling brave, the pair sign up to audition for the upcoming school musical. Feeling threatened, the reigning queen of the stage and her brother conspire with the basketball team and science club to keep the ‘status quo’. Gabriella and Troy have to decide whether they will do what is expected or be true to themselves and step onto the stage.
