An evolving participatory momento-mori artwork touching on ideas of authorship, the handmade vs mass production and collaboration.
This exhibition celebrates the end of an era, with the closure of the physical location of Bridget Kennedy Projectspace at North Sydney, and 15 years of gallery and exhibition representation for Australian contemporary jewellery artists.
Throughout the month, a window installation will be built of small silver-coloured pendants stamped with messages. Bridget Kennedy will be making the artwork within the window of the gallery space daily throughout the month and invites you to drop by and add to the window installation by personalising a metal medallion.
Join the artist at the exhibition and gallery closing drinks, 15th March, 6 – 8pm and to souvenir an element from the show.
