Free experiences across two days to celebrate, educate and enjoy.

On July 5 & 6 at Yagan Square Amphitheatre will host a free, two-day celebration to immerse in the culture and heritage of Australia's First Nations people, offering hands-on activities and experiences in art, cuisine, craft, music, and theatre performances by Yirra Yaakin!

Wednesday from 10am offers traditional dance and live music, workshops in painting, weaving, drumming, bracelet making and more, and complimentary native-flavoured Iced Tea and Ice Cream.

On Thursday see Yirra Yaakin's Lingo Lah Lah - a joyful exploration of Noongar language - on stage at 11.15am and 1.15pm, with free Saltbush buttered popcorn!

All activities are free to experience, and the non-ticketed event invites families, visitors even tourists of all age to uncover and engage in the vibrant legacy of the past for NAIDOC Week.
