“Yearning lyrics and sweet melodies” make ISHAN “one to watch on the Australian pop circuit”

- Tone Deaf Magazine

“At the core of ISHAN’s music is a curiosity about the world and a search for inspiration in everyday life that is all at once affecting and inspiring.”

- Alchemical Records

ISHAN is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Melbourne. Of Indian, Swiss and Catalan heritage, he was born in France and moved to Australia when still very young. ISHAN credits a part of his musicality and storytelling to having grown up surrounded by many different cultures and languages. His acoustic pop-folk style is characterised by a combination of intricate narratives and rhythmic melodies.

ISHAN will arrive at The Workers Club on the heels of his latest two single releases. With ‘Apologies’ (Feb) and ‘If I Had No Song’ (Mar), he continues to grow his catalogue of original singer-songwriter tracks. The show will feature his newly expanded performance band, along with both early favs and new original songs full of energy, authenticity and undeniable storytelling.

Supporting ISHAN are Kiwat Kennell and Bailey Judd

A proud Eastern Torres Strait man from the islands of Ugar and Erub, Kiwat Kennell uses genre-blending music to focus on evoking a connection-to-self and break down barriers within people. Offering the listener both broken-hearted yearnings and triumphant awakenings that permeate the soul through song.”

Bailey Judd is a glistening new voice in music, whose exceptional talent and pop sensibility have not gone unnoticed. Originally from rural NSW, Bailey is a singer/songwriter, producer and guitarist who cut his teeth apprenticing himself to Australia's best jazz improvisers while always staying true to his pop and rock roots.
