JAZZ: Hailing from the USA, TY COOPER is featuring with the All-Star JMQ Jazz Ensemble for one night only - MARCH 9, 2023 at the Golden Gate Hotel, South Melbourne at 7pm. Fine saxophonist-composer, TIM WILSON shall also be the band's guest that evening, with the JMQ : Ben, Tony, Michael & John.

TY Cooper is known for her rich voice, powerful stage presence and dedicated professionalism, Ty Cooper is, as the Las Vegas Times has called her, “the real deal”. Her impeccable showmanship and an easy command of jazz, sultry blues and sizzling swing styles, all wrapped up in flash and sass, guarantee a rich following wherever Cooper graces the stage. A global performer, Cooper has sung in locales as varied as Caesar’s in Las Vegas, Chicago’s legendary Green Mill, Caveau de la Huchette (the oldest jazz club in Paris), and the opulent Wynn Hotel in Dubai. She has led multiple productions and bands, including Swing & Strings, Ty and the Wild Women Jazz.
Tim Wilson is a stellar alto saxophonist, bandleader and composer, who is in demand locally and internationally and always a joy to have on the bandstand. Another very special evening is in store.
