JMQ Jazz Ensemble with Anastasia Aspeling & Aaron Michael

JAZZ: The stylish horn-led John Montesante Quintet (aka JMQ) performs Blue Note, Bebop, Standards - on Thursdays at 7pm at the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel, South Melbourne.
The core band is Ben Robertson (d.bass), Tony Floyd (drums), Michael Harding (piano) and John Montesante (trumpet/flugel) with featured vocal and instrumental guests every week.
On Thursday, FEB 23, 2023, the band is delighted to welcome singer ANASTASIA ASPELING, whose career started in the professional Melbourne jazz + soul scene, before she toured the world with various bands and established a stellar career for several decades in Sydney, across the jazz +soul genres. Since returning to Melbourne, she has rejoined John's bands, and it will be a treat to have her on the JMQ bandstand. Stellar saxophonist, composer + band leader, AARON MICHAEL shall again shine on this special evening.
