Jo and her band will be joined on the night by The Tonewheels. Drawing inspiration from 1960s Rock, Blues and Boogaloo the Tonewheels deliver a soulful, yet gritty performance infused with the stylistic and iconic sounds of Guitar, Hammond organ, Bass and Drums. Their music comprises Blues and Boogaloo standards, groove-laden arrangements of 1960’s pop classics and original pieces by guitarist Richard Ashby, and has all the raw, edginess of blues and in-the-pocket grooves to create a fresh and creative approach to a classic guitar and organ combo.
