Life Drawing at The Motley Bauhaus

Life Drawing at The Motley Bauhaus is a relaxed weekly get-together where we meet in the cosy upstairs bar of the Bauhaus to listen to music, have a drink, and tap into a creative state with the inspiration of an experienced life model.

Facilitated sessions are two hours long - including a short intermission - with poses ranging from 2 to 20 minutes. Sessions will be untutored but facilitated by artist and teacher Megan, who will be available for any guidance or advice before sessions and during breaks. The event will commence at 6 pm and entry will close promptly so please arrive with enough time to buy a drink downstairs, get a comfortable spot upstairs and set up with materials.

Butcher paper, pencils and charcoal will be available for use, along with limited seating at tables. You’re encouraged to bring any other materials you like, such as paints or digital mediums, and please bring a hard backing to draw on if needed.

Ticket sales are limited to 25 people per session, are $20 online or at the door if seating is available.

There is no experience necessary and all skill levels are welcome.
