Lisa Mio & Wild Dreamers – Australia’s No.1 dedicated Linda Ronstadt Show, will be coming to the Oakleigh Music Hall 15th July, for a celebration of Linda's 77th Birthday.

Linda Ronstadt is one of the most versatile vocalists of the modern era, having forged a five-decade career that established her as one of the top artists in one of the most creative periods in the history of modern music. With worldwide album sales of over 100 million, at least 31 gold and platinum records, 11 Grammy Awards, the National Medal of Arts and membership in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to her credit, Ronstadt is the consummate American artist.

Linda became known as one of the world’s first female rock stars, and was often referred to as "the Queen of Rock" or the "First Lady of Rock", due to the success of her albums from the 1970s & is regarded as one of the finest and best-selling recording artists in the history of the industry.

Ronstadt collaborated with & paid tribute to a plethora of artists over the course of her long and illustrious music career. She achieved incredible success in specifically selecting material from artists she loved & admired including: The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Buddy Holly, Smokey Robinson, Frank Zappa, Dolly Parton, Chuck Berry, Neil Young, Aaron Neville, Johnny Cash, plus many more.

The Wild Dreamers are career musicians who have regularly crossed paths, performing not only with Australian Rock royalty, including: Brian Cadd, Glenn Shorrock, Ross Wilson, Russell Morris, Paul Norton, Mick Pealing & Paul Kelly, but also International icons Thelma Houston & Eric Burdon, to name just a few. The Dreamers are all passionate about preserving Linda’s legacy, showcasing Linda’s recordings & introducing her music to new audiences.
