Join us for a deeply restorative and nourishing experience this Winter which combines the soothing sounds of the live cello with the healing practice of yoga.

Discover how mindful and intuitive movement, accompanied by the melodies of a live cello concert, can bring a new dimension to your practice, enhance your concentration, and deepen your sense of relaxation.

This month, we invite you to join us as we launch a six-part series of Live Cello Yoga. Our first session, on Sunday 28 May, will focus on the foundation of this practice: blending movement, mindfulness and sound to create a uniquely meditative and transformative experience.

Each 90-minute journey will begin with a grounding breathwork practice and gentle yoga flow to release tension and promote deep nurturance for your nervous system. As you are serenaded by the soothing sounds of live cello music that has been uniquely composed for meditation, your body progressively softens and eventually becomes fully immersed in the present moment. With each note, you will be guided to move with intention, breath by breath, finding a deep connection to your inner state of peace and stillness. There will be time and space for you to move at your own pace and fully embody each element.

As we progress through the series, we will delve deeper into the five elements of nature, each session themed around one element, providing a harmonious balance that connects us to the natural world around us.

So, come as you are, and let the cello guide you to a powerful state of mindfulness and tranquility. We look forward to sharing this special experience with you.

Open level class, no experience necessary.

Dates: Sunday 28 May, July 2, July 9, July 16, August 27, September 3 2023 - join for one or all sessions.

Time: 4.30pm - 6pm (arrive 4pm onwards for 4.30pm start)

What to bring: Please bring your yoga mat, journal or paper, and pen. Come dressed in warm, comfortable clothes (e.g. socks, blankets).
