Lunar New Year at Karrinyup

Karrinyup are ushering in the Lunar New Year with a range of exciting performances across the centre to mark the colourful occasion.

Large-scale Year of the Rabbit projections and traditional lanterns will illuminate the West Deck each night from 22 January – 5 February.

On Sunday 22 January, the Centre Court will come alive with one of WA’s only performance by two lions leaping on high poles surrounded by a dance troop and drums, complete with an exciting gold confetti finale, and on Thursday 2 February, Chinese lions will commence their journey with a performance in the West Deck. The lions will then make their way through the centre blessing Karrinyup retailers, spreading good luck and prosperity.
