Mixed Media Workshop with Lizzie Connor: CANCELLED

Two Day Workshop Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May 2023

This workshop will cover working on one image, but rendering them in two different mediums, pen and wash. Working on paper and completing a work in acrylic on a small canvas, all based on the theme of ‘saltwater’. Tutor will supply the image to be used.

Lizzie is a professional Artist and Art Tutor with approximately 30 years’ experience as both. Originally from Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Lizzie now lives in the Mary Valley. She has won many awards in Southeast Queensland and has held approximately 24 solo exhibitions and a number of joint exhibitions. Her art tutoring has taken her to many places including the Greek Islands, Norfolk Island and a regular annual week of drawing and painting in Fiji, as well as working and completing residencies and workshops interstate. Her works are created from the natural world, particularly the ocean and beach environment where she has spent all her life and has spent many years creating methods that now have become instinct.

Participants required to bring materials, a list will be provided.
