Local artist Heinke Butt explores how the garment is used as an object of creative expression by Ndzundza Ndebele women, and how historical events have shaped their cultural identity.
Uncover how Ndzundza Ndebele women use the garment as visual language to express their cultural identity in the contemporary landscape of South Africa.

Join us for the official exhibition opening on Saturday 21st October 2023 at 2pm, followed by the artist talk with Heinke Butt.

Free event, refreshments will be served, suitable for all ages.
