This year marks 20 years since the tragic death of the American songwriter Elliott Smith.

He leaves behind a songbook of immense beauty, intricately crafted musical pieces, and deeply compelling lyrics. This production brings together a world-class ensemble of South Australian musicians fronted by 2020 National Jazz Award-winning vocalist, Lauren Henderson, with a creative team led by Adelaide jazz luminary Lyndon Gray and Zephyr Quartet violinist Emily Tulloch. Through the unique sonic treatment of his repertoire, audiences both familiar with and new to Smith's work will be captivated, moved, and ultimately uplifted.
