Opera in the Pub

Opera . . . in a pub? You heard right! Opera Bites brings best-loved opera hits to the relaxed atmosphere of your local pub.

Opera Bites has partnered with The Union Hotel in North Sydney to bring you the world’s favourite opera highlights in the relaxed environs of a great local pub.

Tickets include a 90-minute, fully costumed show, upstairs at The Union Hotel. Show starts 2.00pm. Fabulous food and drinks are available for separate purchase at the venue. Enjoy a full meal or a light snack. View the delicious menu on the Opera Bites website.

The Voices of Opera - Why does the tenor love the soprano and why is the baritone always the bad guy? Join us as we explore the various voice-types of the opera world, what roles they sing and the characters they play. Fully costumed and served up in typical Opera Bites style, expect glorious arias and ensembles aplenty, tunes you will know (and a few you might not) – whether you’ve seen a hundred operas, a handful or none at all.
