Whispering Jackie - burst out of the Sydney DIY scene in early 2016, playing music that's honest and full of reckless abandon. Fronted by Sare Jackie the trio's pronounced 90s sound is a mixture of punk, garage and grunge reminiscent of Magic Dirt, Sonic Youth and Hole. The band’s strong lyrical message and dynamic live performance have made them a favourite on the local Sydney punk-rock scene.
