Perth Folk and Roots Club is back at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club on Sunday 26th November 2023 with free music entertainment with the support of the City of Stirling and Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club. Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are from 5pm to 8pm at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, 1 Stancliffe Street, Mount Lawley. For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has JemClak and Izzy. JemClak is a duet of virtuoso guitar and drums with Clarence Bailey and Jeremy Boyd featuring an eclectic repertoire with influences from John Martyn, James Taylor and Chris Smithers to Bonnie Rait, Stevie Wonder and The Police. Izzy plays laid back acoustic roots music with a picking style reminiscent of Greenwhich Village folk music and is inspired by Mississippi John Hurt and Bob Dylan.
