Perth Folk and Roots Club is back at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club on Sunday 25th June 2023 with free music entertainment with the support of the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club. The performances are from 5pm to 8pm at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, 1 Stancliffe Street, Mount Lawley. For this event, the Perth Folk and Roots Club has Fiona Heath and The Rattlin' Bones.

‘Perth Folk and Roots Club welcomes back Perth Folk and Roots Club supporters Fiona Heath and new duet, The Rattlin' Bones to perform at Perth Folk and Roots Club‘, said Keith Anthonisz, President of the Perth Folk and Roots Club.

Fiona Heath is originally from New Zealand. She brings expressive performance of original songs featuring acoustic music with jazz and soul influences. Fiona previously played with the Perth group the Dreamers and has performed in Europe. Fiona has been performing in and around Perth including the Pickers and Slidders at the Flying Scotsman, the Perth Blues Club, the Boulevard Tavern in Joondalup, the Gas Light Club and Gypsy Tapas in Fremantle. Fiona Heath has been a crowd favourite at past Perth Folk and Roots Club shows and is not to be missed.

The Rattlin' Bones are a new original new music duo featuring Derek Lee Goodreid's soulful vocals and rockin' guitar and Leon Pratt's thumpin' upright bass. As the name suggests, they are committed to wake up your hearts, shake up your souls, rattle your bones and leave you wanting more! Derek Lee Goodreid is a rock/blues artist originating from Perth. His gravely vocals and a raw feel makes him live and breath the Blues according to press site Close to Nowhere. After moving to Norway for love, Derek’s music and lyrics evolved influenced by Jeff Buckley, Elvis Presley, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Cash, and Robert Johnson. Derek’s blues-inspired rockabilly won his newly formed band, Howling Light, a place to compete at Notodden Blues Festival and several festival gigs in Norway and established venues such as Cafe Mono and Buckley’s Blues and Roots Bar. Since then, Derek has released four solo albums and has returned to his home town of Perth, Western Australia. He continues to write, record, and perform his own special brand of Americana, Delta Blues, and Rock with his howling vocals red, hot rocking guitar, and heart of gold.
