In this visual riff on Pink Floyd's album "The Wall," Rock Star Pink (Bob Geldof) is looking back on his isolated childhood. Through a swirl of flashbacks and chemical-induced hallucinations, we shuffle though time and place, reality and nightmare venturing into his memories, each one a brick in the wall he has gradually built around his feelings.

As he withdraws from reality, he imagines himself as unfeeling demagogue, for whom all that is left is the demonstration of power over his unthinking audience, culminating in the excess of his world and the world around him. His internal self-trial follows, as the witnesses of his past fife, the very people who have contributed to the building of the wall, come forward and testify against him.
