From Nashvile to Nebraska, from Tuscon to Tucomcary, Prof Groove and his Southern Nights crew explore the music of the backwaters, bayous, small towns and roadhouses where americana country funk and soul reside.

Negotiating a playlist replete with tracks from artists like Tony Joe White, Glen Campbell, Little Feat, Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Band, Willie Nelson, The Rolling Stones and many more, the Southern Nights band modulate from intimate, laid back country soul to driving, balearic, countrified funk rave-ups.

Performing with what amounts to an extended Booty Affair lineup with special guests like Ollie Thorpe (vocals, pedal steel), Harry Sutherland (piano) and Juanita Tippins (Vocals) alongside regulars Josh Beagley (guitar), Michael Di Francesco (bass) and Terepai Richmond (drums, percussion), this is a night to dust off the Stetson and the spurs and pre-load on some good ole moonshine before throwing yourself into the maelstrom of country, funk, soul, and disco of the Southern Nights crew.
