Prepare to witness a fiery spectacle like no other, as Brisbane’s favourite Irish pub, Finn McCool’s Fortitude Valley announces the much-anticipated return of its search for Queensland’s Hottest Ginger, promising a scorching celebration of fiery-haired individuals across the state on Friday, 28 July 2023.

After a three-year hiatus, the iconic event is set to ignite excitement and showcase the unique charm and allure of Queensland’s best red heads, bringing together contestants, ginger enthusiasts and supporters for a night of fierce competition, laughter, and ginger pride.

Red headed individuals will take centre stage to show off their flaming auburn locks and attitude to an official panel of judges (including Nova’s David “Luttsy” Lutteral and Announcer & Musician Maddy Rowe) as they vie to be crowned Queensland’s Hottest Ginger of 2023, winning a pot of gold each worth $1,000, a signed modelling contract with Tamblyn Model Management and bragging rights for the year.

Finn McCool’s is also paying homage to the vibrant community with an exclusive red head-inspired menu, including flaming hot wings, smoking mini pepperoni pizzas and spicy jalapeno poppers. As the competition heats up, quench your thirst with Red Bull cocktails, ginger beer and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee fire shots.

Queensland’s Hottest Ginger Competition will fire up Finn McCool’s Fortitude Valley on Friday, 28 July at 7:00 pm, with registrations now open online at www.finnmccools.com.au or via Facebook, with wildcard entries available on the night.
