In June 2023, Australian artists visited Kutupalong refugee camp in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, to collaborate with Rohingya storytellers, families and bamboo weavers. Together, they created a story panel illustrating traditional folktales, to share messages with the world.
Médecins Sans Frontières Australia is exhibiting this work to mark six years since Rohingya fled their homeland at: Join-The-Dots Workshop, 102 Victoria Road, Marrickville NSW 2304.
The multi-media exhibition includes soundscapes from the camp, video, photographs, and a recorded poetry reading.
