Songs For Freedom

The shores of Dyoondalup Point Walter will come alive on Sunday, 5 March in an unforgettable evening of song and story for the third Songs for Freedom concert.

Come down with family and friends to witness a powerful performance of songs, visions and messages from the Roebourne community in Ngarluma country, and experience a true celebration of music, people and country.

Directed by Grammy-award-winning artist Lucky Oceans, Songs for Freedom is set to fill the night sky with songs of hope, peace, freedom and country from the Pilbara, engaging audience members to listen and learn along the way.

Created in collaboration with Big hART, City of Melville and Perth Festival, this free event invites people of all ages to settle in for a warm summer evening set against the backdrop of the Derbarl Yerrigan Swan River, and immerse themselves in the songs of an ageless culture and an ancient country.
