The Pascoe Vale Handspinners and Weavers Group uses traditional techniques to create unique and beautiful textiles from handspun yarn. We invite you to our exhibition of work, the first weekend in June.

Our 2023 exhibition includes personal and group projects completed over the last 12 months. We have a display of handspun items that belong in a kitchen pantry, all made using knitting, crochet and felting techniques. We also have a collection of felted bags and cochineal dyed items made from our group's workshops. Along with a display of items made from our Brighton Beach themed fibre sandwich.

Popular items for sale will include warm beanies, scarves, rugs, cushions, children's and babies' wear, and for other crafters, handspun skeins of yarn.

We also have demonstrations of spinning and weaving throughout the day, along with fibre preparation and other displays specific to hand spinning.

Our exhibition is free and open to people of all ages so please come along.

10am - 4pm
Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June
Pascoe Vale Neighbourhood Facility
