There is no slowing down for the caravanning boom and rapid rise in recreational vehicle (RV) ownership across Queensland, as a result Bundaberg residents get the opportunity to attend a FREE statewide caravan safety check program.
Open to all owners of caravans, campers and motorhomes, VanSafe Queensland will educate and support recreational vehicle (RV) owners with the information they need to tow confidently, safely and compliantly – helping to create safer roads right across the state.
In addition to safety workshops and displays, the event will feature free Weight and Towing Masterclasses covering weight distribution, correct loading, towing tips and tricks as well as an open Q&A format to empower all attendees with the knowledge to embark on their next road trip safely and with confidence.
The Masterclass is taking place at Splitters Farm on Saturday 12 August between 3:00pm and 5:00pm and be sure to bring your whole family along as attendees are invited into the farm free of charge to say hello to the friendly barnyard animals!
With the highest number of registered recreational vehicles in Queensland (201,477) and a 190% increase in Google searches around caravan safety in Queensland, there is no excuse for current or aspiring ‘cara-fans’ to not head on down to the masterclass – but remember to RSVP & BYO chair!
