Matisse - Drawing with Scissors (Junior, Ages 6-9yrs)

The ‘Drawing with Scissors’ workshop takes inspiration from the later paper cutout works of Henri Matisse and his wonderful use of colour and fluid shapes.

Using a variety of papers in different hues and textures, your child will explore an abstract world of plant life and create their own wildly imaginative artwork to hang at home.

This workshop will help your child sharpen their scissor skills and build upon their understanding of colour, positive/negative space, pattern and design in a fun, free and spontaneous way.

Please bring: Water bottle , clothing suitable for working with glue and scissors (or an art smock)
