Tender is The Night - Brendon Humphries & Todd Pickett

Known for transforming venues with the sound of strings, this season of Tender is the Night will be at the art deco Trivoli Theatre for the opening show in a series of intimate, one-of-a-kind concerts.

Every performance of the season features a suite of songs by renowned local singer-songwriters, with string scores written by classical composers and performed by the Tender Strings Quartet. Audiences are invited to immerse themselves in the work of each performer and the beautiful arrangements of ten different composers, as each piece comes together for the first time in front of a live audience.

Kicking off on Sunday, 27 May, Brendon Humphries and Todd Pickett will be performing for the first time with the Tender Strings Quartet. Brendon Humphries is the Founding member of local favourites The Kill Devil Hills, with Todd Pickett as the bands drummer and long-time collaborator. Todd is well versed in the Perth music scene, having performed with Southern River Band, Kim Salmon, Abby May, Split Seconds and many more.

This is a picnic style event, so gather some friends, pack a feast and join us for a evening of magical songs, superb strings and sublime moments.
