The Moth StorySLAM is a monthly open-mic storytelling event, where everyday people share personal, true stories on stage, without notes.

The theme for this month's slam is HOME: Prepare a five-minute story about HOME. Where you're from... your humble abode, your roots, your heritage or where your mum lives. Home is comfort, a refuge, domestic bliss! Or perhaps a dysfunctional swamp with no lifeboat in sight. Your postcode, your people, your culture, your pyjamas. There is no place like home.

Come along to put your name in the hat, or to sit back and enjoy a night of great stories.

Tickets ($20 + booking fee) available online until 2.50pm Wednesday 6 December, unless sold out prior. No door sales on the night. Howler is an 18+ venue.

7:00pm Doors open | 7:30pm Stories begin

The Moth is a nonprofit organisation that celebrates the commonality and diversity of human experience through the art and craft of true, personal storytelling.
