The Sunbears
2022 was the year of The SunBear. The band opened for Suzie Quatro at The Enmore Theatre, were voted by the members of the Sydney Blues Society as the favourite blues ‘Emerging Artist 2022’, played numerous festivals around the country, achieved a #1 hit with their latest single ‘Naughty Boy’ and to top it off locked down a European Tour in 2023.
With a huge sound that blends a fistful of George Thorogood passion, a crunch of AC/DC rawness and a sprinkling of John Mayer soul. The SunBears are like a mentos mint shoved in a coke bottle, ready to explode in all the right ways! Each show is a fully immersive, energetic and original contemporary blues rock rodeo of sound!
Bek Jensen
Bek Jensen, delivers her vocals in a way that is moving, heartfelt, identifiable and filled with 100% soul. With a dynamic stage presence, this powerful vocalist brings a blend of classic soul and contemporary blues to the stage.
Bek Jensen grew up in an exceptionally talented family with both her parents working as professional musicians in Australia. Always surrounded by live music and wrapped in a blanket of classic soul, blues, jazz, country and gospel music, she started performing at a young age and found that she had an intense passion for the stage.
Already established as an in-demand backing vocalist from the age of 16, Bek has recorded and toured nationally with Australia’s iconic artists including Cold Chisel, Jimmy Barnes and The Sleepy Jackson and Lachy Doley to name just a few. She will be releasing her new EP in 2023.
Chloe Kay and The Crusade
Fierce, feelsy and female fronted, Chloe Kay and The Crusade are the newest soulful blues rock band taking Australia and the world by storm.
Known for her soulful powerhouse vocals and impassioned live performances, Chloe Kay and her mesmerising band of musicians are becoming well known on the festival circuit.
The group closed out 2022 playing Woodford Folk Festival, they were finalists in the Bluesfest Busking Competition and performed at Bluesfest 2022, they played to a sold out Meatstock crowd, took to the stage at Cronulla Jazz and Blues Fest, Friends & Relatives Festival, Australian Blues Music Festival, Kiama Jazz and Blues Festival, Googfest and more. They've also spent the last year playing packed out headline and support shows across NSW.
