Wanderlust True North featuring Michael Franti's Yoga Jam!

Wanderlust True North

Michael Franti leads a celebration of practice, music & inspiration

Saturday 08 April 2023 at 10am

Paddington Town Hall, Sydney

Time to unroll your mats — Wanderlust True North returns in April for a half day of mindful movement, music, stories and community. Wanderlust has joined forces with long-time collaborator Michael Franti

to offer up his Yoga Jam — a high energy, heart opening yoga practice accompanied by a live acoustic performance from Michael himself. Simone Callahan will lead the practice in Melbourne, and Power Living

teacher Troy Abraham will lead in Sydney.

Before Michael takes the stage, you’ll hear from the inspirational First Nations’ advocate Keenan Mundine, who will offer wisdom gleaned from his life — from incarceration to role model and change agent. Emily Wurramara will offer up her sublime vocals and song craft; Gary Gorrow will lead a deep meditation and breathwork session, joined by Jarmbi powerful ancient sound vibrations on the yidaki who will also lead us in and a grounding and connection experience. Guiding us through the event as emcee is Australia’s homegrown NY Times bestseller, Sarah Wilson – an altruistic leader who is sure to ignite thought and discussion.

Join us for fully immersive experiences set in the magnificent

surrounds of Paddington Town Hall in Sydney.

Saturday 08 April 2023 – from 10am

Wanderlust are proudly donating $1 from every ticket sold to our charity

partner Deadly Connections, an Aboriginal Community-led, not for profit

organisation that breaks the cycles of disadvantage and trauma to directly

address the over-representation of Aboriginal people in the child protection

and justice system/s.
