The York Botanic Art Prize is Australia’s only contemporary botanic art prize, inviting artists Australia-wide, to push the concept of botanic art beyond pure representation. Now in its third year, 47 finalists working across all media have been selected for the exhibition which feature Western Australian native flora.
The York Botanic Art Prize exhibition will open on 26 November at Gallery 152 York when the winner will be announced by Professor Josh Byrne, Environmental Scientist and Presenter on ABC’s Gardening Australia.
Dates: 26 Nov 2023 – 31 Jan 2024
Gallery hours: 10am-3pm daily (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day)
Venue: Gallery 152, 152 Avon Terrace York, Western Australia
