Beware! Orchids are addictive – it might start with just one, but no one ever seems to stop there and suddenly, you have a collection! The beauty of the flowers, different colours, shapes, fragrances, varieties – everything designed to keep you coming back for more. At the Aspley Orchid Society Summer Show, you'll find this out for yourself. The new year is always a good time to take up a new hobby or kickstart your current one. Many orchid varieties will be on the benches and for sale. Our friendly Society members will be on hand to give cultural advice and the trade table by Brisbane Orchid Supplies will have all your growing needs - fertilizer, pots, growing media etc. EFTPOS available. Light refreshments for sale. A raffle of a box of orchids, drawn at 3.00pm Sunday - winner notified by phone. Wheel-chair access. Ample parking and public transport available.
