Corn Nut Creek would love to invite you to their album launch 'Hearts in Bloom' on 10th February in Northcote at the Uniting Church at 7pm. They will be joined on stage by many special guests and young multi-instrumentalist Sylvie Rigby will be playing an opening set. Tickets include tea/coffee and a slice of cake.

Corn Nut Creek (USA/AU) are award-winning folkies hailing from New York and Melbourne who will transport you with their lush vocal harmonies and toe-tapping fiddle and banjo. Bound together through sisterhood and a spiritual connection to snacks, Danielle Vita and Tanya Bradley are storytellers whose spellbinding original songs draw upon the traditions of Appalachian music. The Song ‘Corn Nut Creek’, from their new album ‘Hearts in Bloom’ came in one week after it’s release at #6 in the AMRAP Australian Community Radio Charts and remained in the top 10 for two straight weeks. In 2023, their singles were featured on Country Queer (US), The Alternate Root (US) and ‘Once Again’ was chosen as a semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Competition. Corn Nut Creek were finalists and awarded Jurors Top Five in the 2020 Blues and Roots Radio International Song Competition. Danielle also took first place prize in the vocal category of the 2020 Deer Creek Fiddler's Convention (USA). Tanya is a highly respected multi-instrumentalist who has performed across various genres all over Australia and overseas. They met over 10 years ago in Hong Kong and have been inseparable ever since. In 2020, their debut EP was the feature on Felicity Urquhart’s ‘Saturday Night Country’ on the ABC in Australia, as well as IBMA Award-winning show ‘Music From Foggy Hollow’, which airs on Bluegrass Country Radio (USA).
