Deadly Funny

Deadly Funny, proudly presented by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, is the biggest First Nations comedy showcase in Australia and is hitting all corners of the nation with a series of heats. Cheeky, loud, black and proud – the competition is deadlier than ever in its 18th year.

This year’s Perth Deadly Funny heat will be hosted by 2008 Deadly Funny winner and Aboriginal Comedy Allstar Kevin Kropinyeri at the Fremantle Arts Centre.

Deadly Funny has seen the likes of Steph Tisdell, Andy Saunders, Shiralee Hood, Dane Simpson, Elaine Crombie and Sean Choolburra as both participants and mentors.
