Dorothy Erickson: Hesperia - Più di Cinquante 

Australian Master artist-jeweller, Dorothy Erickson, has been exhibiting her one of a kind jewellery in Australia and Europe for over 50 years.

Following her 2020 induction into The Design Institute of Australia, Hall of Fame,  Dorothy has spent two years working on this exhibition.

For Dorothy, Hesperia ~ Più di Cinquante is both an homage to the women who were among the first to make art their profession in Western Australia and a celebration of her own work.

Dorothy brings new attention to the works of early Western Australian female artists, celebrating their paintings by crafting beautifully designed jewellery pieces. "... as windows into the artists’ minds, gateways that can provide glimpses of other worlds, stimulate the imagination and let loose a variety of scenarios of what may or may not be behind a closed door or a shuttered window..."
