East Asian Ceramic Influence & Techniques

Join ceramic artist, Casey Chen, and guest curator Elaine Kim of Ceramic Stories [digital connections], as they share their inspiration, knowledge and experience of traditional East Asian Ceramics in reference to the exhibition.

This talk will touch on the history of porcelain, Doucai painting techniques, traditional motifs, Chinese Literature and the techniques they have incorporated into their work – with a contemporary twist.
