Anastasia Aspeling + Tim Wilson with JMQ Jazz Ensemble

JAZZ: On Thursday, FEB 29, 2024, JMQ Jazz Ensemble's featured guests are versatile singer, ANASTASIA ASPELING with outstanding alto saxophonist, Tim Wilson at the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel, South Melbourne at 7pm, with Michael Harding, Tony Floyd, Kim May + John Montesante.

ANASTASIA first started working with band-leader John in the 1980s as an admired, upcoming jazz vocalist, with a soulful voice. After some years singing in Melbourne, she was offered opportunities to tour in shows internationally, eventually settling in Sydney, where she worked with numerous bands and ensembles, led her own jazz residency and appeared on many recordings. After returning to Melbourne, she reconnected with John's bands and now is a featured singer in both his jazz and soul outfits. Always a delight to have her class presence onstage.

TIM is a saxophonist, band-leader and composer who leads his own bands, performs overseas and has released several albums. His talent and versatility is always a gift to any bandstand.
