Green Day's American Idiot + Relient K Tribute

Back in 2004 Green Day released their legendary concept album American Idiot, which reinvented their sound and made them one of the biggest rock bands on the planet. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Kang are performing the album live at Crowbar Sydney. In a 60 minute set they will cover the American Idiot tracks, along with extra hits from Green Day’s Dookie record (which turns 30 years old in 2024!)

Relient K also gave us an incredible release in 2004 with their MMHMM album, featuring the biggest hits of the band’s career. Combining punchy drums, sick riffs and beautiful piano ballads, this foundational pop punk album will be covered (almost) in full by the super talented members of Afterthought.
