The newly opened Melbourne Holocaust Museum (MHM) is inviting audiences to the commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the Liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau on Monday 29 January 2024.

This year MHM will be hosting a panel discussion on the importance of democracy. Moderated by MHM Head of Exhibitions & Programming Dr Breann Fallon, the panel discussion will see four expert panellists explore the importance of democracy through the lens of their unique experiences – both lived and professional – to better understand the fragility of freedom.

The four panellists to speak will be Nina Bassat AM, Dr Daniel Heller, Nyadol Nyuon OAM and Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert.
