Joined by Myka Wallace (Moju, Moreton) and Tim Curnick (Ross Wilson, Lachlan Doley), Bowers’ trio music offers an exciting blend of styles, surprises and discoveries. Coming up in Melbourne’s vibrant music scene has shaped Bowers’ compositional style, though his influences are wide ranging; from artists such as Brad Mehldau or Aaron Parks right through to the production work of Burial or the heart wrenching compositions of songwriters like James Blake or Madison Cunningham.

The trio will be performing works from Bowers’ debut offering “My Trio Album” as well as unreleased works from his forthcoming “My Quartet Album” due later this year. Fans of music are highly advised to attend, though it isn’t strictly compulsory.
