Lantern Festival

2024 Lantern Festival – free fun for the whole family!

This year the Australia China Friendship Society (www.acfs.org.au) will hold the Lantern Festival from 6.00 – 8.30pm on Saturday 24 February 2024, at the Beijing Garden, Flynn Drive, Yarralumla (behind the Hyatt Hotel).

This event is FREE. There will be performances of Chinese music, dancing, and martial arts, with a Lantern Parade at the end. Bring a picnic and enjoy a family evening by the Lake. Only bottled water will be available for purchase. Bring your own lantern or buy one there.

In case of rain the Festival will not proceed; please check the ACFS website on the day.
