Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show

Melbourne is set to blossom once again as the coveted Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, presented by Scotts, transforms the world heritage-listed Carlton Gardens and Royal Exhibition Building from Wednesday 20th March until Sunday 24th March 2024.

With dozens of breathtaking horticultural designs to ignite visitors’ senses, this year’s Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is truly unmissable. The Great Hall of Flowers will be blooming bigger and better than ever with new floral displays and competitions, reflecting the flourishing world around us and the trends that come within it. While the ever-awe-inspiring Landscape Design Show Gardens will also be unveiling nine incredible gardens, with an international flair.

The ever-impressive outdoor program will boast an incredible series of enchanting garden displays across five categories: the world-class Landscape Design Show Gardens, 5 x 5 metre Boutique Gardens, student-led Achievable Gardens, Balcony Gardens and bespoke Border Gardens. Inviting everyday gardening enthusiasts to get involved and showcase their own designs, the Show will also welcome back the Hanging Basket Competition, alongside the ingenious Arts & Sculpture Precinct, and NGIV will help entertain and educate little ones with a series of immersive experiences to help fuel their horticultural aspirations.

Inside, the Royal Exhibition Building will be transformed into a botanical paradise with the crowd-favourite Brush & Bubbles classes returning, brand new award-winning floral displays, a showstopping display of wedding inspiration by John Emmanual, floral fashions by RMIT students and delicious high tea sessions.

On Friday 22nd March, visitors can experience the Show under a whole new light as Carlton Gardens transforms into a captivating paradise for Gardens by Twilight complemented by a new selection of Cocktails & Tapas at the High Tea Lounge.
