Perth Chinese New Year Fair 2024

The annual free community carnival to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Year of the Dragon, Perth Chinese New Year Fair 2024 is on 11 February from 12pm to 9pm. It is free entrance open to the public to share the joy of the Chinese Culture and Customs as well as celebrating the diversity of the Western Australian Community. The fair will be opened by lighting of firecrackers and blessing by lions. Held at the Perth Cultural Centre and New WA Museum Boola Bardip, the fair will feature significant Chinese culture through street food, performing arts, arts and crafts, competitions, games and information sharing. The highlight will be the entertaining and lively performance of various Lion and Dragon dances as well as the colourful evening multicultural concert.
