Tales from the Deck Vol 3 - Summer Tales

Tales from the Deck is a series of musical stories played by DJs designed to take the audience on a journey through worlds enchanting, terrifying and powerful, where genre and hypnotising beats take a back seat to emotion and meaningful thought.

This month we have rotated our roster and have a set of wonderful new bards with tales to amaze. Joining us for the first time are Orphic Angel and Vera Roze, and our first interstate performer is none other than Peach1337: Adelaide's Doyenne of DONK!

Volume 3 will also see The Brown Beat dropping his final Tale from the Deck (for now we hope) before he returns overseas, a beat brought on the wind and flown off over the sea once more.

Our feature presentation is The Book of Divergence, a choose your own adventure DJ story presented by Matt Frequencies - Will you side with Father Mathew, DJ of Order, or Brother Seth, DJ of Chaos? Your choices will decide the outcome of the story, but will you choose wisely? And will you be able to complete your Artefact of Divergence by working with others to navigate the story to an unheard ending?

Introducing 'The Artefact of Divergence':

Continue the story of Duality by collecting the base of the Artefact at any performance of the Book of Divergence!

For each ending of the chapter of Duality that you witness, you will be awarded one chapter insert, upgrading your artefact!

Once fully upgraded, you will have a complete Artefact... And access to a special code on the back, usable on the website for the Book (coming in 2024). Disciples of Divergence will be able to play the mini sets back as complete recordings with a fully written version of the whole story - so you truly can choose your own adventure!
