Tin Roof Jazz Band - The Jazz Club of WA

The Tin Roof Jazz Band was born in 1986 when Roy Burton, President of the Jazz Club of WA, brought together six classically trained musicians, including current leader Vivienne Kidd (piano). They were joined by Martin Kidd (banjo). The band played together, three or four gigs a week plus regular gigs at the Club, until 1994 when Martin and Vivienne went to Spain to live. Vivienne reformed the band about four years ago. Mike, Tim and Steve were original Tin Roof players and have since been joined by Dijon and Benn. These awesome musicians enjoy each other’s work and hope that the audience will love listening and dancing to their music as much as they enjoy playing it.
