Urban-pop, smash hit R&B sensation and ruler of Australia's radio waves, Jason Derulo will play his first Australian arenas shows in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and the Gold Coast when he returns here in April 2012 as part of his most extensive world tour yet.
This September, 21-year-old Miami-raised Derulo unleashed his highly anticipated sophomore, 12-track album 'Future History' (Warner Music), featuring the Top 5, double-platinum hits 'Don't Wanna Go Home' and 'It Girl', and the up and coming smash hit single 'Breathing'.
"I'm excited to perform this album all over the world," says Derulo.
Jason Derulo's rapid rise to fame began with the release of his explosive, self-titled debut album.
The album, currently edging towards one million sales worldwide, is home to some of the most infectious and biggest hits of 2010 - 'What If', the platinum 'Ridin' Solo', the double platinum 'Whatcha Say' and the double platinum ARIA #1 smash 'In My Head'.
Building on his chart success and leaving no doubt as to his enviable abundance of musical talent, in 2010 Derulo toured, charmed and conquered with hugely successful, totally sold-out shows during his eight-date, first-ever national tour.
Thrilling his Aussie audiences, Derulo proved himself a five-star performer with a powerful voice, effortlessly switching from ballads to high-energy pop, while busting out all the dance moves.
In 2012 fans can expect an even bigger live show boasting an even more elaborate production that showcases Derulo's killer moves and an abundance of hit songs, new and older.
