Lana Del Rey Postpones Australian Shows

Controversial pop star Lana Del Rey has postponed her Australian shows, which were to take place in a few weeks in Sydney and Melbourne; The Music Network reported this morning that a double pass for the Sydney show at Oxford Art Factory was nearing $1000 on eBay.

Del Rey's Australian publicity team issued this statement this morning:

"Due to unprecedented international demand, Lana Del Rey's forthcoming Australian tour dates are to be re-scheduled. More extensive dates will be announced soon. All ticket holders will be given refunds and priority booking for new dates.

The re-scheduling follows the release of one of the most anticipated debut albums in recent memory. Born To Die debuted at #1 on the UK album charts and is currently sitting atop the iTunes Australia album charts in this, its first week of release.

Refunds for the Tues 28 February show at Oxford Art Factory and Sat 3 March show at The Toff in Town will be processed shortly.

If you purchased your ticket online or over the phone through Moshtix your ticket will be automatically refunded back to your credit card/PayPal account. If you purchased your ticket from a Moshtix retail outlet you will need to return to the outlet with your ticket to receive your refund.

Lana is looking forward to her maiden Australian visit and sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused."
